About Us
Classic Harbor Line - operators of a series of classic style vessels in Newport, RI and New York City - bring the 80-foot Schooner Adirondack II (of Newport, RI) to Key West, FL for the winter months of November through April.
This wooden gaff-rigged sailboat, certified for 60, was designed and built by the same boat-builders who crafted Key West's former pride, Schooner AMERICA. Scarano Boat Building of Albany, also crafted all the vessels in the famed Classic Harbor Line fleet: the 1920's style yacht Manhattan of NYC, and the schooners Adirondack and Imagine of NYC.
Classic Harbor Line is well known for their outstanding captains and crew and standard of hospitality. Whether you sail with them in Newport, New York, or Key West, guests are known to not only rave about the beauty and maintenance of the boats, but of the lasting warm impression that their hosts provide. Guests are treated like royalty, beverages are complimentary and the vessels sail like a dream!

Newport, RI
• Newport Website: Sail-Newport.com
Established in 1995, this was our first day sail operation - hosting guests in the historic waters of the Eastern Seaboard's sailing mecca, Newport, RI. This beautiful town is home to the New York Yacht Club, historic sailboat preservation societies, and thousands of sailing enthusiasts. It is a breath-taking New England town to visit and sailing is a must here during your stay. Adirondack II operates here late May through early October.
New York City

Schooner Adirondack has truly become a NY Harbor icon over the past decade, taking to the waters daily May through October. In 2006, the Yacht Manhattan was constructed for the company. She offers boutique high-end power boat cruises April through January. In 2007, the Schooner Imagine, also a Scarano-built boat, was added to the fleet to meet the sailing demands of this location. Sailing with us in NYC is a great, crowd-free way to see all the NYC water-side sites.
